Margot's story

Margot belongs to the community bank "Virgen Asunta". She lives in the district of Calca in the province of Urubamba in the region of Cusco. The city of Calca is one hour from the province of Cusco.

Margot is 42 years old, is in a common law marriage, and as three children -- two girls and a boy. The oldest studies at the high school level and the younger ones attend primary school. She has a small bakery that makes and distributes bread.

She balances running her household with the production and sale of bread. She distributes the bread very early in the morning to the other stores in the city with the help of an employee. She has been running this business for several years and it has been going very well thanks to all of the effort that she has put into her work.

Margot needs this loan to increase her business's capital. She wants to buy more ingredients like flour, oil, sugar, etc to make special Christmas breads.

She feels appreciative of the opportunity given through this lending service and commits to repaying the loan according to the timeline.
