Concorde Plus Group's story

"Concorde Plus" is a community bank composed of 32 micro-entrepreneurs, including Lutonadio N., who is the leader. They established themselves guaranteeing one another jointly in order to obtain micro-loans via Kiva and the micro-finance institution HOPE RDC with the goal of developing their businesses.

Lutonadio N. has a main business selling cassava flour and cornmeal in the eastern part of Kinshasa. She started this micro-enterprise in 1987. She has already benefited four times from HOPE RDC loans, which she has repaid properly. With the next loan, she intends to diversify her business by including salted fish with the goal of growing her revenues. Lutonadio is married and the mother of five children, ranging from 6 to 19 years of age. Five of them are in school.
