Charles Wambua's story

Charles is a married man. He and his wife Florence have five children together: P., Mutisya, Musyoki, Mouo and Muli.

Charles was introduced to KADET through other KADET clients, and he is now taking out his second loan with them. He has been running a general shop for two years, and with this loan he intends to add stock of sugar, maize flour and charcoal to his inventory. His business is situated in a slum area which is nevertheless vibrant and has many customers. With the extra profits from his loan he plans to sell charcoal wholesale. Charles believes he is hardworking, and also hopes to develop a piece of land and build rental houses to earn an income from the rent.
