Alaa is a 20-year-old man living with his parents and three siblings. Six years ago, his father started teaching him how to work in construction. Once he understood the process, he started working on his own, hoping to increase and perhaps even double the household income.
Today, Alaa is requesting a loan in the amount of $1,200 in order to purchase new tools.
