A loan helped to pay for a variety of sandals and slippers to resell.

Gilbert's story

Gilbert, aged 36, is a married man. The couple have two children, both in school. His wife is busy with selling fruit. As for Gilbert, he has been selling slippers and sandals since 2013. Since he obtained two previous loans, he increased his merchandise, which is also sold at markets in other regions.

Now on his sixth loan to develop his business, his goal is still to have more merchandise and to diversify it with the aim of becoming a wholesaler in his domain. His dream is to acquire land on which to build a house.
