A loan of $700 helped purchase of cows.

Sulma's story

Sulma is 51 years old and lives with her husband and her two children in her own house.
She has bought and sold animals for the last five years, fattening them up over a period of approximately four months and then selling them at a profit.
She is an excellent saleswoman, as her way with words and her capacity for persuasion lead to reaching a beneficial agreement when it comes time to sell her cattle, and in this way she is able to create income for her family.
With the passing of time Sulma's working capital (animals) has increased and this has kept her satisfied and at peace, although it is tiring work, since she has to always keep a watchful eye on the diet and hygiene of her animals.
In the future, Sulma would like to have a larger amount of cattle to continue in this line of work.
This is the eleventh loan opportunity that MFP have offered her. She is part of this communal bank and is highly valued by the other members of her group.
The loan that she is applying for will be used to buy more cows.
