Massa's story

This is 38-year-old Massa. She is married with four children ranging in age from 6 through 21. All of her children are currently in school while living at home. She attended school up to 7th grade.

She is a businesswoman who sells cooked food. She has been selling for the past 15 years. She has had no problem with her business. Her husband is a businessman. She describes herself as a hardworking businesswoman. She often sells 14 hours each day. She transports supplies to her business site by car.

To enhance her business, she asked for a loan with BRAC Liberia. The loan will be used to buy more ingredients that will be used to cook food to sell and generate more sales, volumes and profits. She learned the trade from her mother and started selling with her own savings in order to help her husband in taking care of the home. In the future, she would like to build a house. She likes her business because sales are fast with lot of profits. She says thanks for your support.
