A loan of $875 helped purchase of replacement parts for his motorcar.

Rider's story

Rider is 37 years old, the father of four children, and he has been living with his partner for 16 years in one of his aunts' houses.

For two years, he has been making a living by transporting passengers on his own motorcar. What he likes about his work is that he is able to meet many people and to have pleasant conversations. It is also very important to him that he treats his clients well.

His biggest challenge is that this kind of work is very common in his city, so everyday he has to compete with others. For this reason, he is trying to dedicate his time to other businesses, like helping his wife sell clothes. This way, he can earn a profit and keep up with the family expenses. In the future, Rider would like to have a general store, because it would be a profitable and peaceful business.

This is his second loan with MFP, he is part of the communal bank, “Futuro Mejor” and he likes that the members of his group are responsible and united. With the money he is now soliciting, he will buy a few replacement parts to get his motorcar fixed, and he will invest the rest in his wife's business, buying more clothes to sell.
