A loan of $425 helped to buy liqueurs.

Sévérine's story

L. Sévérine was born in 1977 in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin. Married to ALLAGBE Lawal, she is the mother of three children who are all in school. For nearly six years, she has lived in the Yénawa district in Cotonou with her husband and children. The couple provides for the family jointly.

Sévérine attended school through the secondary level. For a dozen years, she has been selling liqueurs of all kinds in Gbogbanou in Cotonou. She stocks up from Dantokpa, the international market of Benin.

She is a previous ALIDé client, having already benefited from three loans, which have been repaid. To augment her stock of liqueurs, to satisfy her customers as the holidays approach, she's requesting a fourth loan from ALIDé.
