A loan of $225 helped construction of a bigger kiosk for her business.

Blanca's story

Blanca is 50 years-old and lives with her husband, her two children, her two grandchildren, and her brother. For 17 years Blanca has been selling juices and sandwiches. She has a stand in her local market, where she has loyal customers who always come, starting early in the day, to purchase her juices. Blanca's daily routine beings at 5 in the morning and ends before noon. What she likes best about this job is providing good service to her customers, but it also keeps her busy and entertained. Also, Blanca considers this business very profitable because all her ingredients (fruits, eggs, sugar, etc) she buys in the same market at a low price. The stand is in a good location and provides daily income. In the future, Blanca would like to rent a store apt for selling her juices.

This is her first loan with MFP, but the people in her group are honest, hard-working, and, above all, responsible. With the funds from this loan Blanca will build a bigger kiosk for her business, one where she will be more comfortable.
