Mrs. Shina Rath Village Bank Group's story

This village bank loan consists of thirteen people and they all live in Veal Thom village in Kandal province. Mrs. Shina R. is the village bank president selected by the members. She owns a small grocery store in the local village. Since this business is going well, she wants to expand it so she is asking for a loan to buy more grocery products to re-sell. She plans to use the rest of the loan to buy more fishnets for her husband, Mr. Sam Sarin. Mrs. Shina R. is 46 years-old and the mother of three children. Two of whom are employed in a garment factory while the other is enrolled in the local school. Mrs. Mouy Teang L. did not come to take a loan but her husband did so he is presented in the picture instead.
