Amparo's story

Sra. Amparo is one our hardworking and active members. She lives in the city of Manantay in Ucayali region. She is 33 years old and a single mother of a little boy. Amparo strives to get ahead and provide a better future for her son. She sells sodas and candy out of her home. In addition, she has a boat that she uses to provide river transportation services at the port of Pucallpa.

Amparo joined the Carmen Cabrejos Communal Bank five years ago. Her first loan of 300 was used to buy candy to sell from home. She is now requesting a loan of 2000 soles to buy sodas and nectar to sell from her house. Her goal is to become a soft drinks distributor.
