A loan of $975 helped purchase recently calved cows for milk production.

Felipa Del Carmen's story

Ms. Felipa S. lives in the Villa Alvarez de Nueva Guinea region. She has two underage children who attend elementary school in the Los Monos de Villa Alvarez region. She works in agriculture and needs to purchase 2 recently calved cows so that she can increase the size of her herd, thus producing a greater amount of milk and obtaining bigger profits to help with her family expenses. She sells the milk to dairy processors in Triunfo Nueva Guinea. Her husband works with her in farming and agriculture, but he also collaborates with the household chores. Felipa is an exemplary, enterprising, responsible, honest and humble woman who is well-known in the area. Her greatest wish is to be healthy and to be able to leave a great amount of livestock for her children in the future, providing her family with a better quality of life.
