Dina's story

Sra. Dina is a member of the Communal Bank “Patrón San Roque”, which is located in the District of Sacanche, Bellavista Province, Department of San Martín. She is 48 years old, married, and the mother of two children of whom one is still a dependent.

Five years ago, Dina was motivated to start a small business selling groceries. She received her first loan of 300 soles to start her business. Dina achieved good results from the beginning as a result of the quality of her products, low prices, and providing good service to her customers. She continues to manage her business from home to this very day. Her main customers are neighbors from the area.

With this loan of 3000 soles, she will purchase more products to restock her business such as rice and sugar by the kilo, crates of eggs, personal hygiene products, household cleaning supplies, sodas by the pack, sweets, and other items to keep her customers happy. Dina feels she is a strong woman capable of moving forward. She thanks Manuela Ramos for helping people like her who want to work and get ahead. She hopes to continue working for a long time and help other families and women entrepreneurs.
