A loan helped purchase grocery products & a freezer.

Mildred's story

Mildren is a dynamic and hardworking woman who lives in the city of Pucallpa, Ucayali region. She is 65 years old and the mother of four adult children. She has a small grocery store that she operates out of her house. Her husband is a retired teacher.

Mildred joined the Communal Bank “Las Caseritas” two years ago. Her first loan was in the amount of 300 soles and was used to purchase items for her store. With this loan of 2000 soles, she will buy merchandise for the grocery store and use part of the loan to purchase a freezer for storing sodas, meats, and other products. Mildred’s goal is to expand her business and keep it well-stocked. She thanks Manuela Ramos for providing loans that have kept her business in operation.
