A loan of $650 helped to buy beauty products.

Aleydith's story

Señora Aleydith belongs to the communal bank "Mujeres de la Colina II," which is located in the Banda de Shilcayo district in the San Martin province in the San Martin region. She is married, 33 years old, and has 3 dependent children.

Aleydith sells cosmetics and she is a woman who, little by little, has increased her business, making it more well-known to her customers. Her drive to get ahead has brought about good results. Currently, she continues with her business and she tells us that it is going very well. Aleydith sells a variety of brands of beauty products, including lines such as Unique, Esika, and Avon. She feels very content with what she does.

With this loan of 1,800 soles nuevos she will buy beauty products to increase her inventory such as: perfumes for women and men, creams, compacts (powders), lipstick, nail polish, and another glass case to exhibit her products.

Aleydith, at her age, is an example for many women to follow, in that she started her own business and with perseverance she is managing to reach for her dreams. She is very grateful to the Movimiento Manuela Ramos organization for helping her to start her business, and for helping other women to grow as entrepreneurs.
