A loan of $3,300 helped a member purchase merchandise.

Generation 2006 Group's story

The Generation 2006 Association consists of twelve members who meet at the Villa Exaltación community center. They work responsibly in all of their group activities. The members currently have distinct business. For example, Maria Eugenia Q. is the president of the group and sells seasonal merchandise. Jackelyn sells groceries. Miriam produces blankets and “polleras” (traditional skirts worn by women from certain regions). Veronica has a newsstand where she sells books and magazines. Samuel is a mechanic. Lita sells disposable diapers. All of the members want to obtain better sales. For this reason, they need to buy merchandise. They are certain they can generate more revenue to allow them to support their families.
