A loan of $2,500 helped to purchase a new wood machine for his work.

Chadi's story

Chadi is a 31-year-old man who lives in Saida in southern Lebanon with his wife and their two children. Chadi has been working as a furniture painter since 1989. He repairs old furniture and even manufactures new furniture. He does bedrooms, living rooms, any rooms that need furniture.

Chadi requested a loan from Al Majmoua in order to purchase a new wood machine for his work. Chadi has been a micro-credit client for ten years now and has always paid on time.

Chadi is unique in his work because he knows how to treat his clients and always does a good job. His clients are his friends, neighbors and referrals. When he first started his business, he had difficulty building networking with clients and had some financial issues. Chadi originally decided to start this business because he wanted to have independent work. In the future, he plans to expand his business, and he also wants to open a grocery store.
