A loan of $2,600 helped a member working capital.

Las Propiangas Group's story

The Las Propiangas Communal Bank, represented by Ms. Mirian, is comprised of 12 group members—9 women and 3 men. The women sell food, hamburgers, provisions, empanadas, bread, or cosmetics by catalog, while the men are in welding or work in the factories around the city. Competition is high, but the group members know how to get ahead with great efforts and the enthusiasm of owning a business. The loan will be used to generate more profits so that the members can give their families a better quality of life and provide a more promising future for their children: their reason to get ahead in life. Regarding experience in microfinance, the group members have previously worked with institutes similar to Fundación Agrocapital, to which they are grateful for the trust and financial support they have given them.
