A loan of $3,025 helped a member working capital.

Las Rosas Group's story

The Las Rosas Communal Bank, represented by Ms. Carla Daniela, is comprised of 12 enthusiastic group members who have the desire to work and who have their own sales stands, selling street food, cosmetics by catalog, provisions, and apparel. There is fierce competition in selling provisions, and because of all their perishable items, sellers must have capital readily available so that they can obtain more goods at a lower price to replace the expired goods in a timely manner. For this reason, most of the members really need this loan so that they can have capital for any exigencies that may arise and so that they can increase their sales by offering wholesale prices. In terms of experience with solidarity groups, most of the members have previously worked with institutes similar to this one, but none has ever given them the support and trust that Fundación gives them so that they can make progress with their plans to grow, thus giving their family a better quality of life.
