Las Golondrinas Group's story

The "Las Golondrinas" (The Swallows) group is maD. up of 12 members who are in their first loan cycle although they have worked with communal groups before and decided to form a new, renewed group; they are led by Fatima. The members are involved in various commercial activities like: food and clothing sales, bread baking, public transportation, vehicle repairs. Their commerce is varied, has good sales, good profits, and good ability to repay despite heavy competition. The financing will be used to increase working capital; they hope to improve sales and the funds will be used to buy more merchandise which will be used to generate higher profits to be able to proviD. their families with a better quality of life and a more promissing future for their children, who are their main reason to continue forward. With regard to credit history, they have worked previously with financial institutions similar to Fundación Agrocapital and they are grateful to it for the confidence and economic help granted.
