A loan of $350 helped to repair and service carpentry machinery.

Ramiro Artimidoro's story

Ramiro, 58, lives with his wife and youngest of his 7 children in the Paiján district, Ascope province, La Libertad region, which is located 3 hours away from the city of Chiclayo. He has been a carpenter for the past 40 years having learned his skill from a friend of his parents. He has supported his family all this time through this work. He is very proud that most of his children are now adult and fulfilled. During this time he has manufactured doors and beds based on orders placed by his customers. He receives orders not only from nearby residents but also from other nearby cities. The constant use of his machinery has caused some of it to start to fail and this has brought him to seek financing for the first time from Edpyme Alternativa in the form of a 1000 new sol loan to repair and service those that need it. He is a very responsible and hard-working father. His greatest wish is to begin to make furniture independently so that he can sell it in nearby cities.
