A loan of $1,100 helped to purchase sockets, consumer units, security light fittings and other electrical appliances for his shop.


Boaz's story

Boaz O. is 31 years old and a father of two children aged 10 and 1. He runs an electrical shop in the main bus terminal of Kisumu City with assistance from his wife.


He has been in this business for the last eight years and also offers electrical fitting services to his clients after he sells them electrical items. His interest in this type of business started after he completed a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Kisumu Polytechnic.


Boaz was introduced to KADET Ltd by a friend who left one of the main local banks due to high charges. This is his second loan from KADET Ltd, and with it, he intends to purchase sockets, consumer units, security light fittings and other electrical appliances for his shop.


Boaz aspires to open a wholesale business in electrical appliances.
