Mahamadou's story

Mr. Mahamadou C. is 51 years old and has 3 children. He is married and lives in a monogamous family in Dangassa, one of the towns (located 70 kilometers from Bamako), within the second administrative region of the republic of Mali.

In order to enable his business to prosper, he joined Soro Yiriwaso's loan program with which, he is on his third individual loan. He has fully repaid his two previous loans.

With this new loan, he intends to purchase one ton of corn, 450 kilograms of peanuts and 55 molds of shea butter, which he sells at retail prices, for cash and credit, in the market of Dangassa. He supplies himself once a month from producers and wholesalers.

With this loan he hopes to earn an average quarterly income of 250,000 FCFA, which he will use to pay back his loan and he will re-invest the rest in his business.
