Mawu Pe Mo Group's story

Benjamin is thirty-six years old. He is married and has two children, both in school. He lives with his wife and children in a rented apartment in Kade. Kade is a farming/commercial town in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He manufactures metal pots. Benjamin is the leader of a trust bank group called "Mawu pe mo," meaning "God’s way." Most of the group members are into trading activities. The group is requesting a loan to procure goods in bulk to expand their businesses. Benjamin is the one standing in the photograph. It is their desire to give their children the best education they can afford.
