Hong S., 29, is married with two school-aged children. She resides in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, with her husband (pictured) and children. To make a living, she and her husband are engaged in a business of raising pigs for sale, earning collectively an income of US$ 10 per day as a primary source of income for the family. This is her second loan from CREDIT, Kiva’s partner.

Mrs. S. and her family members are seeking to improve their standard of living and to generate a better income. Therefore, S. is asking for a loan of US$ 1000 to purchase more pigs to raise for sale.
