A loan helped to build infrastructure for organic coffee processing and drying.

Danny Fidelia's story

Danny, 34, lives in the village of Calabazo, a small community of coffee growers 25 minutes from the province of San Ignacio, Peru. Her parents taught her agricultural labor from a young age. Danny lives with her husband and her two school-age children.

Danny works in coffee production with her husband. She supports herself with her own parcel of coffee. Of excellent quality and good taste, she sells that product to her cooperative, Cenfrocafé.

Danny dreams of improving her family's living conditions.

Danny will invest this first loan in infrastructure for organic coffee processing and drying, with the goal of ensuring the quality of the coffee bean and getting better prices.
