A loan of $3,825 helped a member operating capital.

Renacer Group's story

Yolanda represents the Renacer Group, which is comprised of 12 hard-working members. They are in their third cycle. They did have some problems with members who could not make their payments due to family problems. The group knew how to handle the situation by helping the members to make their payments while they were recuperating. Then they could return to getting together their working capital, thus demonstrating the unity and solidarity of the group.

The group has different commercial activities like selling food, cosmetics, groceries in neighborhood stores, and medical supplies. Some offer nursing and cleaning services.

As far as the competition goes, it is high. But, the members know how to get ahead thanks to their work experience and their desire to keep their business afloat. They do this because they depend upon their businesses for their families’ daily support.

The loan is to buy merchandise and supplies that will help generate better income so that the members can give their families a better quality of life.

In this group: Yolanda, Angela, Lucia, Gabriela, Yngrid, Nieves Magdalena, Roxana, Olga, Marina, Felicia, Katya, Carmen
