Yoli's story

Mrs. Yoli belongs to the community bank “Las trabajadoras”, located in the District Juanjui, Mariscal Cáceres Province, San Martín Department. She is 33 years old, lives with her partner and is the mother of 2 children. Her 2 children are still dependent on her. Yoli has had her business for 4 years; she is a persevering, efficient and capable woman. She has a clothing business in a small, well equipped area of her own home. Every two weeks, she travels to different nearby towns to sell her clothing merchandise. This way she can sell her clothing quickly and continue to invest her earnings. She now has regular clients that she meets in these nearby towns.
Nowadays, she tells us that her business is doing very well. Her fighting spirit and great optimism helps her to grow as an independent woman and she is proud of what she has achieved. With this loan of S/. 3,000.00, she will buy more clothing merchandise to stock her inventory including pants, shorts, blouses in all sizes and models, polo shirts and dresses for adults and girls. She feels like an established and hardworking woman and she is grateful for the opportunity that the Manuela Ramos Movement has offered her, thus developing herself as woman and small business owner.
