A loan of $350 helped to buy wood.

Nelly's story

Nelly is 29 years old; she is a very proactive woman with businesses. She is the mother of 3 children who are students. She lives with her partner who is the father of her children and who supports her in her business.

On part of her land, she has a small sawmill where she converts the wood she buys into ready to sell clapboards. She has had this business for a period of 6 years now and it’s going very well. In general, what she likes most about this job is managing the business and keeping an eye on her workers. Nelly considers her work to be worthwhile because it is her own business; she has regular customers and daily sales, so she has been able to obtain satisfactory earnings. In order to move forward, she wants to build a place for her business that has adequate space for making the business run better.

This is the first time that she has had a loan with MFP and what she likes about the communal bank is that she noticed that her partners are very responsible, and above all, very organized. With funds she is requesting, she will buy more wood to keep her business active.
