A loan of $350 helped to increase her inventory.

Enma's story

Enma is 44 years old and lives in her parents' house with her partner and father of her two children. She sells textile handicrafts in the galleries of a commercial center located in the central plaza of her town. She sells scarves, hats, shoes, gloves, and tapestries of all styles and sizes; some made by her and some that she has purchased. On the fifteenth of each month she travels to the city of Lima, bringing garments she has made. During the next fortnight of the month she travels to another city with textiles made by her husband. Each blanket made from pure lamb wool sells for approximately 120 soles. Enma would like to save enough money to purchase land and build her own house.

This is her third loan with MFP and during this time (1 year) she has been very punctual with her payments. She will use the money from the loan to increase her inventory.
