A loan of $4,300 helped a member operating capital.

Nueva Esperanza-21 Group's story

Rosa Victoria represents the Nueva Esperanza 21 group. It is comprised of 13 members; most of them are from the 21 D. Diciembre region. The members sell different products. Some have neighborhood grocery stores. Some make and sell wood furniture in carpentry shops. Some sell coca, food, pork, and cosmetics. Some have neighborhood stores, and some have mechanic shops.

The members are in a market that is highly competitive. They have their strategies for assuring the sale of their products. Also, they are well known in the local market, and they intend to arrive on the international market by improving the quality of their products.

The loan is to buy supplies for their stores. Some will use it to buy equipment and tools for their shops. Others need the loan to buy merchandise to expand their stores.

This group is undertaking their sixth cycle. Most of them know each other already and have experience, given that they have participated in five cycles. It is a group of united and responsible people. Above all, they have a great desire to get ahead.
