Caminho Da Luz Group's story

The Caminho de Luz group is renewing its loan with the Banco do Povo Crédito Solidário (BPCS) and is again asking for the investors' support. The group works in the Diadema community of Sao Paulo and is happy with the help and the progress of its businesses.

Antonia sells clothing; Jurandira is a seamstress; Merita sells household items; Meire sells cleaning products; and Vania makes artisanal carpets.

Ivonete is the group's leader. She is married with children, and has more than 20 years of experience working as a seamstress. She is a happy and very nice person. Through her work, she helps her family. She will use the loan to buy notions, thread, fabrics and needles for doing alterations and making clothing for sale. She currently works out of her house, but dreams of growing her business and having her own store in the future.

In this group: Antonia, Ivonete, Jurandira, Merita, Meire, Vania
