Lidia Lili, 61, has been a hard-working, optimistic, member of the “María Montessori" communal bank for the past 9 years. She has always been known for her dynamism and punctuality. She lives in the city of Pucallpa, Ucayali region. Every day, from very early in the morning, she sells tamales and cooked black eye beans. She has her vending stall in her yard. She is the mother of one adult son. Her husband is a welder. Her first, 300 sol loan, was used to buy chickens for resale. Lidia now needs 1,600 soles to buy chickens to sell during the Christmas season. Lidia's goal is to have a soda fountain. She added, also, that she is very grateful to the Manuela Ramos Movement for the past loans granted that allowed her to build her house.
