Samabaia Group's story

The Samambaia group is a client of Banco do Povo crédito Solidário (BPCS) and is renewing its loans. The group lives and works in the Jardim Angela region in São Paulo, and through their work, they help their families and community development.

Francisca is the leader of the group. She is married and lives with her 3 children and 1 grandchild. Her husband helps her with her sales. She has a small lunch counter, and with the loan, she will buy ingredients to make lunches for sale. Her business is very organized and she takes great care of her customers and is highly dedicated.

Luciana sells cosmetics and fashion jewelery door to door. Maria is a seamstress and will buy materials to mend her clients' clothing. Suzy owns a pet shop, and with the loan, will buy medicine and hygenic products for her clients' pet treatments.
