Paulina's story

Paulina, 31, is a very hard-working woman. She lives in her own house with her 33 year old husband, Felipe. They are both very hopeful about forming a family. They are prepared to work very hard in order to do so.

Paulina spends 16 hours in her store. She opens at six in the morning, and she tends the store all day, on the go, until approximately ten at night. Her convenience store is one of the busiest in her neighborhood. Her neighbors know that they will always find what they need there.

What she likes most about her work is talking with her neighbors and finding out what is happening in her neighborhood. She has been doing this for five years. The most difficult part is having to stay in her store all day without being able to go outside. In time, she hopes her business grows and will be able to give her better income.

This is Paulina’s first loan with MFP. She is prepared to work very hard to make her payments punctually. In her communal bank she is much respected for the punctuality that she demonstrates. She will use the money she is asking for to buy more products to better stock her store.
