A loan of $650 helped to build a kitchen.

Rosa Amanda's story

Rosa Amanda has three children: two who are adults and a 9-year-old daughter who is a fifth-grader. Rosa Amanda is an elementary school teacher in the Río Plata neighborhood which is 6km from Nueva Guinea. She has to rise very early every morning to complete her household chores and then leave to teach the children of that neighborhood. She is asking for her 7th AFODENIC loan to buy building materials to improve her kitchen, which is in very poor conditions. Rosa Amanda has striven to little-by-little improve her home and her dream is to finish building it for better comfort, work, and health and to become an excellent professional. She is currently studying Educational Sciences to become a licensed teacher so that she can contribute to the better education of Nicaragua's children.
