Apprentices Group's story

The Apprentices Group is a Communal Bank that is starting its third loan cycle. The group was previously part of the San Andres Communal Bank, but split off to form its own entity. The members are very responsible and supportive of one another with their payments. They do not have many needs other than the basic necessities such as sewage services, clean drinking water, etc.

The group leaders are as follows:

Sra. Maria Laura is the group president and a very responsible leader. She is married, has 3 children, and works in a bakery.

Sr. Ivan is the group treasurer and is very responsible and knowledgeable with his handling of cash. He does not have any children and works as a driver of a “trufi” taxi (a taxi that operates on a fixed route). His loan will enable him to support his family.

Sr. Luis Carlos is the group secretary. He is single, has no children, and also works as a “trufi” taxi driver. He will use his loan to pay for maintenance to his vehicle.
