Mr. Sen S., 52, and his wife, Mrs. Amnas S., 42, live along National Road Number Six about 20 kilometers from Phnom Penh, and have five daughters. One of them sells beef in the market, another one sells fried banana and sweet potato, and the other three are in school.

Sen is a cow and ox seller. He buys them from his village, and he sometimes travels to buy cows at other districts far away from his house, for resale in the nearby province. And sometimes, there are middlemen who come to buy cows at his house as well.

Sen has applied for a loan from Kiva one time already. He hopes to continue expanding his business, so he is requesting his second loan of $1,000 to purchase more cows and oxen for resale.
