A loan of $700 helped purchase of a calf for raising and sale.

Rosa's story

Rosa is 20 years old and is a young woman with a great desire to excel. She lives in her parents' home and wants to succeed.

The activity of Rose's family was always raising cattle. That's why she learned from when she was very small how to do that. She now has her own cattle and feeds them well, because she knows that the good condition of her cattle depends on the profits that she makes from its sale. What she likes best about her job is to feed her animals because she feels that it gives them the love they deserve. She has been doing this for 4 years and believes that the hardest part is having to drive her cattle to the festivals of cities where she sells them. Over time, she hopes to increase the number of cattle that she has in order to have better earnings.

This is her second loan with MFP, and she knows that she has to meet all of her payments on time. In her community bank, she is a very cheerful and supportive partner. With the two thousand soles, she will buy a calf, raise it, feed it and then sell it at a higher price.
