A loan of $250 helped buy supplies for food prepartion and sales.

Diana Del Rocío's story

Diana is 18. She is single and lives with her parents in the El Imperial village in the Olmos district, which is located one hour and forty minutes north of the city of Chiclayo.

For one year she has been the proprietor of a small business, which is located at the Olmos bus station. She sells food, sweets, and drinks to the passengers and drivers who frequent the station. She helps support her family with the money from this business.

Her business has been so well received in the area that she intends to expand it by selling more products and preparing more dishes daily. This way she could satisfy her customers’ demands. That is why she is asking Edpyme Alternative, for the first time, for 700 PEN to buy the supplies she needs to get ahead with her business.

Her biggest desire is to study a technical career in nursing to be able to help the people in her village. She is very supportive, and she is always thinking of the well being of those around her.
