A loan of $3,250 helped a member purchase of commodities and raw materials.

Nevaditas Group's story

Verónica B., treasurer of the Nevaditas group of the Alto Lima Center, has been with the group for about one year and is 27 years old. Recently, her husband passed away and she is now left to care alone for her two children. To sustain her family, she sells cosmetics every day in the city of El Alto and needs this loan to purchase merchandise from Desaguadero because she can acquire it there at a lower price. Like Verónica, the other members of the group also have their own businesses such as selling clothing, potatoes, artifacts, school materials, and fruit. Others make clothing items like jackets, and knit clothing with Alpaca wool. They all need the loan to purchase commodities and raw materials, and continue working on their businesses.

In this group: Veronica Rosa, Catalina, Eusebia, Virginia Gumercinda, Rosmery, Remedios, Isabel, Teodora, Norma, Herenia, Maria Elena, Martina, Silvia
