Edward Abisalom Obongo's story

Edward opened his retail shop 5 years ago and has since built it up to generate profits of 35000 KES a month.The types of items he sells in his shop include sodas, detergents, maize, rice, tea, and sugar.

He is married to Maureen Akinyi, who lives upcountry with his family. He sends money back home to Maureen and their 1 year old child. Edward moved to Nairobi in order to better support them.

This is Edward's 5th loan from KADET. He will use it to open another retail shop. He has been saving for a while and this loan will supplement his savings and make this new shop a reality.

One day Edward hopes to venture into the real estate business.
