John Mwangi's story

John, 41, is married to Joyce and has three children. John was introduced to Kiva partner Kadet through an existing client. He is applying for his first loan with Kadet. He has been operating a tailoring and dressmaking shop for the past 11 years. He also does small scale farming as another source of income. John intends to purchase more sewing machines for his business with this loan.

His hopes and dreams are to open a big clothing shop and stock a variety of materials which can attract more buyers. He describes himself as a hardworking business man.
