Teresita's story

Teresita F. has a rice farming business in Sto. Niño, South Cotabato. Her rice field is about 2 hectares. She is 56 years old with 8 children; her eldest is 32 years old. She started this business back in1976.



Now she has joined Community Economic Ventures, Inc., requesting a loan of Php 15,000. She will use it to pay the hand tractor in her farm and provide inputs for the land. It will help her a lot not to borrow money from a rice trader who charges a lot of interest.
