A loan helped to buy a cow.

Mirian Edith's story

Miriam is an enterprising woman who is 49 years of age. She is married and lives with her nine-year-old daughter who attends a school nearby. Miriam's husband works as a driver.

She raises animals such as pigs, chickens, and dairy cattle. This allows her to cover household needs when her husband is away. The loan she is requesting will be invested in the purchase of a cow in order to replace the cows that have stopped producing.

Miriam's goal is to educate her daughter so that she can pursue a profession.
