Anjie's story

Anjie M. is from the village of Bolibol. She is 34 years old and married and has two infant children. To make a living, Anjie owns and operates a hog raising business. She has been engaged in her business for over two years and earns approximately $75 a month from this activity.


In 2008, Anjie joined PMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. Anjie is requesting a loan of 5000 PHP which will be used to purchase livestock feed and other supplies. This will be her first loan from PMPC. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from her business to improve the general living conditions of her family.
