Juliana's story

Juliana is a responsible and diligent smallholder farmer from Cheptonge village who is involved in dairy and maize/corn farming. Her work brings home an important source of income. She gets help with the work from her family members.

She has always strived to give them a decent life and a good education. Juliana has been in agriculture for six years. She sells milk, eggs, and crops. She enjoys plowing her farm and watering her plants. She is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs, such as seeds. She plans to buy good-quality seeds to increase the productivity on her farm. Increased productivity will allow her to improve her quality of life and living standards.

Through training from Juhudi Kilimo, Juliana has learned about the culture of saving, and she plans to use the increased income to improve her farming. This loan will go a long way to change the life of Juliana and her family.
