Granito De Oro Group's story

Granito de Oro is a group consisting of nine women and one man, all cheery, amiable and charismatic people. Currently they are in their second loan cycle and they became a group so they could take advantage of capital that would allow them to grow their businesses. One of the members, Lucy M., is 27 years old and mother of one. Her business is selling clothing made out of alpaca wool. Originally she was a salesperson, but with her mother’s help she opened her own store. Currently she needs the loan to purchase alpaca sweaters. Her main customers are tourists. The other members of the group have different businesses, such as selling sweets, shoes, clothing, cosmetics and food, and they need the loan to purchase merchandise.
