A loan of $350 helped purchase cooking utensils.

Veronica's story

Veronica is 41 years old and a hardworking woman. Her desire to excel motivates her to continue fighting for the welfare of her 5 children, with whom she lives along with her husband.

Veronica prepares and sells snacks for social events in her district. She is recognized for her baking abilities and none of her delicious pastries go unnoticed. Her daughters help her fulfill orders because sometimes she has to prepare hundreds of pastries. Veronica considers her business to be profitable because she is able to invest half of her profits into making her delicious snacks and saving the remainder to increase her capital. Her goal is to open a soda fountain where she can display and sell the various pastries and cakes that she prepares with much dedication.

This is Veronica’s eighth loan with Microfinanzas PRISMA. She expects to continue working hard and making her payments on time, just like the other members of her Communal Bank. With the money she is requesting, she plans to acquire some utensils used in preparing her sweet snacks.
